| [General] Lower ping time for Earthlink LPV
I've been running the BBR line monitoring to keep an eye on the performance/uptime of my Earthlink LPV DSL connection. It appears that Earthlink or Covad made some significant change on Saturday night, February 25th, because ping times on the line monitor now have consistently fallen by 30ms. The West Coast monitoring hosts for me previously were showing ping times of about 40ms, now they're around 10ms, and for the East Coast monitor, times went from 115ms to 85ms.
Will keep an eye on this to see if it consistently stays there. |
