Good to hear....the only way to access the 6100 is to directly connect to it, then go to 192.168.1.1 - otherwise, you can't reach it AFAIK.

| I'm still trying to figure out where my IP addresses in the range of 172.25.25.x were coming from back when the 6100 was supposed to be dishing them out. It wasn't what I had setup in the 6100 DHCP address ranges. They were all 192.168.1.x addresses. |

| Since 172.xx IP's are private, they are similar in nature to 192.xx - nothing to be concerned about, its just how Verizon probably set up the modem initially. This is normal, because the Westell 6100 modem is a basic modem:
