Now you've got me. PC connected to a LAN port of the router, router powered, go ahead and connect the WAN port of the router to the modem.
The PC should have a 192.168.1.100 IP, showing a Gateway of 192.168.1.1. It should be able to connect. |

Elkview, WV | When the Desktop is connected to the internet, I can type in 192.168.1.1 into the browser, and the modem settings DO appear. But I can not get into the Router settings. I am a bit confused myself... |

| OHHHH Now I see what I was doing wrong!
I know how to get into router settings now!
Before I was connecting the blue cord into the modem port of the Router instead of space number 1. Plugging the blue cord into space number 1 and typing in 192.168.1.1 allowed me to view the router settings! I will let you know what happens! |

I was hoping you weren't doing that. Figured if I had you plug the modem into the WAN port, it had to be right. I know you can get in an SR41 without a WAN connection.
Matters not, all the frustration goes when it all works. Congrats, you are now a network admin. |
