1 edit | [Cingular] Crossed Lines
I'm still on Cingular Blue, and for the past few days, my line has been crossed with a few other people.
When someone I know calls me, I see their number on the caller ID, and when I answer, it's someone completely random.
When they call me back again, it works. Sometimes when I make outbound calls, the same thing happens.
It's the weirdest thing ever.

| reply to Greg_Z I called Cingular on Sunday, and they made some test calls to my phone. The calls all went through, so they said it wasn't really a problem.
The thing is, this only happens with local numbers, because I've gotten calls from NYC that come through just fine.
gdm suggested that I remove my SIM card for about 15 minutes; so far it has worked.
