Any logging using the modem itself would likely be thru your provider; and it sounds like you've already gone down that dead-end road.
The only other alternatives of which I'm aware -- assuming you keep your current provider -- is to purchase "customer side" equipment (e.g. a different phone) which will log the calls AND prevent erasure of the incoming log. You might be able to use a similar external CID box to record incoming calls. |
