Sardis, OH		 what is the latest firmware for the 5100? mine is 2.3.2.5-SCM01-NOSH. also does newer firmware make your internet run with better performance, like less lag?

 Each ISP decides which version to use. They don't always use the same. An ISP may also have a version that is specific to them only.

The newest I have is: SB5100-2.3.4.6-SCM01-NOSH

Different firmware normally does not increase speeds, improve lag, etc. Firmware updates usually address issues that need to be corrected.
