| [Connectivity] Different IP for modem and router? Is that normal
I just noticed this, is this normal? I wouldn't think that the modem would have its own IP address that is different from the public IP my router is using. What do you all think? |

The cable modem IP addr is a Comcast internal IP addr and is not a public internet address. It is used by Comcast to manage the cable modem using SNMP protocol. |
