What's more amusing is that over the last year, Pac Bell has had a lot of peak-hour latency problems, causing slowdowns during peak hours (see pacbell forum, posts about the "Lag Monster").
I'm not really faulting PacBell for having problems - every ISP is going to have its share of issues and growing pains, but I really do think it's time for SBC to stop misinforming people (or at least grossly exaggerating the truth) and go with a different marketing approach. |

Fun, Pacific Bell has the exact same commercial...
I remember that last year, ordering DSL from them (and after that earthlink) was a nightmare which drive me to take cable. And that's working fine! |
