Yup,
This is the 4th god damn time this is happening! I get extreme static on the phone line or no line at all (I just get a dial tone that is extremely loud and I cant make a call as it wont do anyting if I input numbers)
DSL still works, but this is getting bad. Loosing phone service for almost 24 hours! in my house thats not good.
The guy said, last time it happend to me, the technician replaced a jumper at the head office.
Can it be a jumper that expires every fakin season! shit.
I'm sorry, im releasing my stress here.
It seems to be every season change (or when the weather gets better) last time it happened was around beginning of december, now in march. This thing has an expiration date or something.

ya my house is a year and few months old now. I mean while all this is happening, my sympatico is still fast so its not my house line nor the lines in the road.

FYI, voice can be completely DEAD while DSL works.
Static on your line is a LINE TROUBLE.
A jumper in the CO would not likely be a cause.
Obviously the problem has never been fixed correctly as it is returning.
I would say that it IS a line fault even if the lines aren't that old, shit happens. If you're in a new neighborhood, it's likely that your BSW got cut or damaged during contruction and patched together by construction guys, and now getting wet.
Don't run off that we're not doing our job !!!
How many times have you called in for repair for voice line?
If none GET TO IT, if you have call again. some troubles are difficult to find when they come and go. |

WTF are you talking about man, if there were line issues, dsl would go down. My speeds stay the same, 2500 / 650.
Its fixed now, she said it was a head office problem. AGAIN

i so do not want voip, i use my internet bandwidth like crazy, and last thing i need is voip so when my sister or mom are on the phone i get killed!
