One of the biggest problems though with Mediacom is that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. The better a franchise is managed by local government, the better the outcomes they get. While service might become more even, it would probably just become evenly bad.

At least they aren't uniformly terrible like some smaller companies (Northland, Cebridge, etc.) are...
