Re: Uhhh, unauthorized access?

their trying to turn it into a distro computing for game servers.

here's the thing, it can be done with software OR the host can actually go out and get a FREAKING DECIENT SERVER THAT DOESN'T CONSTANTLY CRASH BECAUSE THE COMPANY HAS THEIR HEAD SO FAR UP THEIR COLLECTIVE ASSES THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND INTERNAL ROUTING.

remember, when trying to scam someone, make sure they don't know that the term lag is a spinoff of latency, which does have a meaning.

Latency
"The time between initiating a request for data and the beginning of the actual data transfer."

"Network latency is the delay introduced when a packet is momentarily stored, analyzed and then forwarded."

bolth can be related to and "blamed" on the general congestion of the internet, the hosts internal network, and the users ISP routing.

I think they're planning to include some anti-cheat technology in cards, to help sell it on the developer side....of course to sell it on the gamer side they'll need to spew oodles of BS, but that's the American sales way....

If this means what I think it means, it seems this is just exploiting a weakness in some games, and just beggin to be taken advantage of by people who want to cheat. If you computer sends back some slightly altered data, would it mean you never die?
