you will need to provide more information...what are the "boxes," what VOIP carrier are you intending to use and have you opened an account and made payment arrangements, are you using regular phones into an ATA or softphones, etc. basics.

Thanks. Sorry I ommited the obvious...
But - that is not my problem ( I have installed hundreds of VoIP ATAs). What I am asking is for someone who is familar with the different ADSL ISPs there - do they use PPPoE? Are there any issues with port blocking etc.

I've lingo running through pppoa myself, and it was pppoe before the isp upgraded to pppoa. There should be no difference. Most people in the states have pppoe for their adsl access.
