2 IP addresses

Hi,

If I have 2 IP addresses can I buy a second (3rd party) cable modem and plug it in? Do I need shaw to come in to set it up? I know that I can use a router to connect multiple computers to the internet.

Extra IP addresses can be used only though the modem they are applied to.

You'll need another account for another modem.
