Ok guys I have been fiddling with this for a bit and I've managed to get past previous problems... then I ran into a new problem. After setting up my router to do PPPoE, it wouldn't connect. I would hit Connect and nothing would happen. I got around this too. The problem was that for the user name I was just filling in my user name. This is WRONG. So I played around a little more and I found out it has to be username@sympatico.ca (b1xxxx##@sympatico.ca) something like that... so if anyone had the same problem, try that solution. Thanks everyone for your help. I can't believe I went two months unable to host/join games and putting up with slooow torrents. |
