I live in Ny - bronx , Will fiber optic will be available near bronx?I currently have verizon 3mb/768 package,Does fiber optic comes thruw telephone line? or they gotta replace the cord in the building?I live apartment. |

The answer to the first question is maybe and probably since you are in a Verizon area...but the "when" is "someday". There is no real way to ascertain the when.

No, I'm telling you there is no way to know when it will be available to you, but it is likely that it will at some point in the next 15 years if you are in a Verizon area.  Since you are in a multi-tenant building, the time-line is likely to be "not soon", too...they are just starting to figure out how they want to do that; hence, almost all of the current FIOS deployment is into single family premises. |
