4 edits | here is what i have for "shockwave player".. i installed it from the macromedia website..
i have had problems with at least one version of "shockwave player" in the past, but not now..
here is a page where you can "test" to see if the activex controls are properly installed

I would uninstall it and re-install from the Macromedia web site. There was a vulnerability with this version when installing it from some sites other than Macromedia.

thanks people, I dont know what has changed but i liked the old flash better, i think yahoo exploits it and i only want the flash player, not the shockwave it is now.
I only start ranting and raving when they "update" something,which i tore java out too, and macromedia is now owned by sun  |
