You poll is only allowing one selection. I did not vote.

Must have been a temporary fluke because now it worked.

I've been using Avast for the past couple of years and am very pleased with it. The free version has the same engine as the pay version and is full of features. Fully configurable to individual taste, in addition to the resident scanner one can also install scanners for email, IMs, P2P and browser if desired. I use F-Prot as a back up scanner.

I use SAV Corp 10 instead of Norton. Much better. Trying KAV and NOD32 on separate machines. I'm probably gonna migrate from SAV though.

Another vote for AVAST. Reasons: see Mers2 post above. Sometimes use Bitdefender as secondary scanner.

KAV - and it seems that it will stay that way, since the KIS 6 release candidate builds are working better on my computer.

I have licenses for KAV and NOD, but my work recently got a site license for the corporate McAfee and we are allowed to use it at home. So, right now I am using that. The corporate McAfee runs very light on my system and I am pretty happy with it so far. Plus, the price is right.

I used to use McAfee (garbage - forget it!), next was free AVG (after one of upgrades, it stop working om my system), and I moved to free Avast.

Now, I'm happy!!!

SAV Corporate 10. Has been very reliable and problem-free; nowhere near as bloated as retail NAV.
