1 edit | There are some contractual obligations which prevent Covad from competing with its partners. Besides, it's a better strategy....this way cash-strapped Covad only has to bill, support and deal with 100 resellers instead of 100,000 end users which probably results in higher profit margins and less headaches. This also frees Covad to concentrate on "business" customers who tend to generate higher revenue per circuit with much, much lower churn rate. |
