now i am confused according to what you say you can't use a router in Germany or are all modems there used as routers. How do you get an IP address for each device if you only use a modem which is usually set up as a bridge like it is in Israel.
My question is how do devices get IP address through DHCP in Germany |

I'm confused about what your setup is. As I said, logon to adsl is through the modem, not an ata or a router.

Am trying to turn the voip MTA box into a router using pppoe and the space for the username will not accept more the 35 characters will have to talk the voip company |

The modem itself has enough space for the numbers. If not, you should change the adsl modem.
