| Re: if you're interested...Yahoo! Mail news. Yes, Rogers switched me to the new interface as of today. It's actually quite nice. I don't typically use webmail, but i was impressed.
Saying that however, my concern now becomes with this change will they take away pop and smtp access. I could see it happening since this new interface is very similar to a client like thunderbird or oe.

I switched mine over. On the main landing page when logging into your Rogers/Yahoo account, scroll down and look for something like in the attached pic. Click the link and it'll take you to another page where you can check it out.

| Still the same old interface here using my primary account. I use pop3, and I'm glad I logged in. I found 66 bulk messages, and two of them were from two friends that I hadn't received email from in a while. I see there's no email address ALLOW function on their damned spamguard plus. I don't want to turn the whole thing off and end up with all those yahoo/rogers riddled bulk emails | |

@cable.rogers | Re: if you're interested...Yahoo! Mail news. Mark the messages from your freinds as "Not Spam" with the button provided. That will assure they are allowed through next time. Simple.

Mark the messages from your freinds as "Not Spam" with the button provided. That will assure they are allowed through next time. Simple. Thanks. Will try that. Their explanation of that particular button was that it just puts THAT email in the inbox. Hopefully this will do the trick. Thanks muchly. I have another problem with pop3, but will start another thread.

| A little over a year ago I upgraded a secondary email account to the primary account. Log in at Yahoo with the 'new' primary or a 3rd secondary account and get the old style webmail. Log in using the 'old' (original) primary and get offered to use the new style. | I've been using windows live mail for months - its way better than the current version of Gmail. Anyone that tells you otherwise hasnt used Live Mail.
As for the yahoo mail thing, no idea. Have no intention to use it anyway!
My favourite feature of WLM is that you can right-click on a mis-spelled word and, just like in Word, you can choose the correct spelling of the word you were trying for... That and the drag and drop stuff, thats cool too

| Only people on certain email servers will be upgraded..From what I can tell it will be older accounts first..eventually migrating everyone over to the new system. If you're not already upgraded, you should be within the next 1.5 months or so. There is no manual way to change over. | |

It's Yahoo not Rogers. Yahoo is slowly phasing in customers. Plus it's only a new webmail interface. Is it that important?
