Higher costs still...

It's still going to end up costing more. They'll just end up offering Naked DSL at a higher price than DSL with a landline. Look at the pricing scheme for speakeasy's naked DSL. It costs about $20 extra which is the average cost for your basic landline without anything extra. In the end there's no savings.
