Well...

if Fios were in more areas and people compared the pricing and switched over, Brian would be running scared. He is betting that Fios will spread across the country slowly. And he knows that he has the ability to go and match those speeds quickly if he needs to. Everyone knows that Comcast is upgrading equipment and not standing still.

So, it is now a waiting game...

Re: Well...

Well the new Hyundai's offer BMW luxury for a lot less than a BMW. While it is not a BMW they are still very nice.

The issue is that comcast is going to have trouble with network issues when the speed is increased to 16mpbs as they are overloaded in some areas at the current speeds.

Re: Well...

You obviously haven't looked at the details of either car for very long if you think the new Hyundais come remotely close to the quality inside or under the hood a BMW. Take a test drive and listen to all the rattles if you don't believe me. The similarity is in their commercials only.

Comcast nodes will not overload networks. They dont put to many customers on a node unless it can handel it. With comcasts launch of its own version of VoIP the network department said the current node configuration can handel up to 132Mbits per customer, with no slow down and no upgrades to their nodes.
