Exploring that shows nameofgame.part01, ....part02, .part03, etc. Exploring the first one of those (.part01) shows a .iso file that is also represented by a stack of books, and described as a winrar archive. At that point I need to extract to see whats in there. You can extract the contents of a .iso file with winrar, if you don't want to mount it with like daemon tools or alcohol, to see the contents.
So did it work or you didn't get there yet? -- Thank God i am not getting married, having kids, going on a date, etc! Oh Thank God!»Re: newzbin.com file datebase now 50 days |

| Hello all, I have a question about a game that I've downloaded from Easynews (actually its a "collector's edition" with multiple games in one). When I extract the files to the appropriate folder using WinRar, I'm met with yet another layer of WinRar zipped files. This is extracted to the current location and some loose files are there, mixed with some more layers of WinRar zipped files.
Now I know games are very particular about the folders and subfolders they point to and the files each contains. Does this mean that each "zipped file" is actually representative of another subfolder in the tree (for lack of a better term)? If so, how do I unzip all these in the proper manner so that I can eventually play these games? Do the names of the folders matter also?
Perhaps I have this all wrong...if someone has the slightest idea what I'm rambling about, I'd love to hear from you . Thanks!!! DK |
