I am in Collegeville, PA and I started noticing 2 mbps speeds for the past week or so. Uploads are fine at about 350 kbps. The tech came out last night and hooked in his crappy RCA and lo and behold it went upto 9-10 mbps!! I plugged in my SB4100 and it's back to 2 mbps down. He said I should get a new modem. I did the testing couple of times with both his modem and my modem and the speed results were consistent. I guess I'll have to eat the price now since there's no DSL or FIOS around where I live(off of Old State Rd). Anyone else have any other suggestions?
