Some routers and modems don't handle tons of open and half open connections very well. I've had the blizzard p2p downloader kill my cable modem (it rebooted) when the blizzard downloader opened like 400 outbound connections at once.

When I was using my Netgear WPN824, any Blizzard title would cause the wireless portion of the router to fail. Switching routers fixed it for me.
