Plus it depends on the plan. In my case (Verizon) when looking at static IP or higher speed plans, DSLx continues to be cheaper or offers what VZ won't. My plan is less than 1/2 the price of VZ, plus I get more static IPs.

| I agree - if you want static IP's - DSLX is cheaper than SBC/AT&T, however, Sonic is priced comparibly for static.
