|  DSL Extreme ADS - They Don't Tell You This At Sign-up!
DSL Extreme has begun overriding users "do not search from web browser" Internet Explorer Settings - and filling Internet Explorer browser pages with PAID AD LINKS.
This is awful - and the cookie opt-out option ("never erase the cookie" - they say.....) does not work. I am still taken to the same ad link filled pages - every time I type in an incorrect web address - or one that does not exist (such as when I am seeing if a given web address exists).
This is outrageous - I cannot shut out these ads and their tech support department refuses to remove them (they only offered a complete reconfiguration of my now AUTOMATIC network DETECT settings -- which would have meant that i would have to deeply network reconfigure EVERY COMPUTER I EVER CONNECT TO MY DSL LINE. |
