1 edit | Re: Easy answer: This doesn't make sense, you get a 404 when the server name is valid but the requested resource isn't there. If they are acutally redirecting in these cases, they must be inspecting HTTP packets for 404 error codes. If that's the case, changing your DNS server won't do a thing.
If they are redirecting when you do a lookup on a non-existant domain name, that's a different issue and switching DNS servers should fix the problem... but that isn't a 404. |
