I've already taken the update for it since then i can get connected but like i said it keeps cutting out.Before the update i couldn't even connect.Next step i'll try what peter_m
said but that's where i'm a little confused.How do i enter his configurations to be able to configure those ports in port triggering/forwarding ?.Do i insert cd in or do i type router's ip adress in web browser? or is there another way to get in?Like i mentionned before please be specific since i don't have that router and will try to do this on the phone with him(very green newbie...lol)Again thanks to all for the help i really appreciate this.

peter_m Premium join:2005-07-13 Canada, QC	Re: WRT54G version5 DON'T use the CD. Just go to the router's IP address (default should be 192.168.1.1). Then leave the username empty and enter "admin" for the password and bingo, you are in. To access the desired pages, just click on the title at the top of the page. I've highlighted them in the picture from my previous post. Good luck Peter
