SAMPLE provision xml for RTP300

Try this file.. I changed the Admin PW to be "Admin" and left the user pw as "tivonpw". Also, I assume your router to the net is at 192.168.100.1. I set DNS1 to that IP. Also, I put your TFTP and HTTP server IP to 192.168.100.53.

The way this is written, it will do this:
1. The RTP300 will TFTP from 192.168.100.53 the file: /rtp300/ti001310000.xml (replace 0's with actual MAC)

2. The RTP300 will HTTP get (using WGET) from 192.168.100.53 the file: /rtp300/rtp300-3-1-10.bin

3. Set appropriate provision info.

4. Set Admin password to Admin and enable Admin

5. Set user password to tivonpw and enable user

6. Set idle timeouts to: user:5 and Admin:15

<provision version="2">
<options>
<reconfig/>
</options>
<settings>
<firmware>rtp300-3-1-10.bin</firmware>

wrtp54g firmware version 3.1.10

If you are using your WRTP54G with Vonage for an active subscription, this firmware will _not_ work for you! Don't do it!

OK, I have been testing this version of firmware, and it appears to be stable.. As with anything these days, you assume full responsibility when loading firmware on your device.

It is for the WRTp54g router.

Some features:

- Wireless works!
- Serial console does not require login (press any key for shell prompt)
- ssh login (dropbear) added for remote admin
- Default 'Admin' password is "" (blank)
- This makes the WRTp54G work as a '-NA' (unlocked) device.
- VOICE section works the same as a Linksys PAP2 device.
- Configure additional features using config.xml files, as before

Limitations/Bugs:

:VOICE section identifys as "RTP300". No 'Wireless' tab while in voice..

Work-around: change to another screen (non-voice) to see Wireless tab.

---
If you are having trouble getting into your WRTP54g, review the first several posts on this thread. They will help you find your 'encryption key' and info to get going.

To get the most of this firmware, you should perform a 'factory reset' after loading this version. Do that with reset button (hold in for 50 secs or so) or the fact reset option in ADMIN tab. This will clear junk from flash ram and let you setup the device, starting from unlocked (-NA).

OK, well have fun with it!

I wondered if this hacked firmware will have a support for STUN server options under its SIP tab. Can anyone confirm this?

Did the update, everything on the Router side works fine, but on the voice side it will not save any of my Settings when the router reboots all setting fields are blank. I did perform a Fact Reset on Voice and Router after doing the update and I am setting up the SIP settings over Wireless

Re: [Vonage] SIP credentials, RTP300, GPP_K?

When I fill out the SIP settings and click save, the router reboots but none of the data is saved all is gone on the reboot.

Voice seems to be broke, will not even save the time settings under regional

Re: wrtp54g firmware version 3.1.10

Now something definately is not right with the voice portion on that wrt3-1-10 firmware.

I took it down from here until we get the voice part fixed-up..

Sorry about getting people's hopes up!!

But, we are close..

So, I will load up the RTP300 and begin the painful task of comparing the file structures, etc..

Stay tuned!

Does flashing it completely require setting any of the J1 jumpers? Curious noob, following with admiration and awe.

OK, so what about the WRTp54G version... ?

OK, I think I figured it out..

It looks something like this:

The RTP300-3-1-10 firmware is unique in that they added a seriously modified SIP application. This SIP application appears to be an emulated PAP2-type interface, with most of the features of a regular Linksys PAP2 device.

The design of the SIP application includes memory locations to read/write the Sipura Profile (commonly known as 'factory defaults') and the Line1/Line2 settings.

Things seem to work OK with the RTP300, as the additional flash ram is not taken by wireless components, etc.

The WRTP54G uses more of this valuable memory, and when you go to 'save settings' in the VOICE module, it causes the thing to crash and reboot. The memory it is trying to write to could easily be in use for the wireless apps or another piece within the system.

So, time to begin working on a memory map of this beast and relocate the Sipura Profile and Configs. Setting the location is easy. It is done using environment variables (stored in /proc/ticfg/env )

Re: wrtp54g firmware version 3.1.10

I think there is something messed up with the voice part of the RTP firmware too... the voice tab tries to redirect you to http.//IP ADDRESS/voice.html instead of the nested path that it used to be.

Everything you need to know is in this thread - read it!

If you are still having problems, be specific as to what you cannot do.

WRTp54g unlocked 1.00.62-NA

Since it had been posted here in this thread, here is an update to this project...

Attached is wrtp54g 1.00.62-NA firmware. Yes, for the most part, it is unlocked!

For now, it is the old voice interface.

Give it a spin.

I have tried this firmware and I found a problem with me when I tried to flash back to other firmware. When I click "Firmware Upgrade" enter my ID and password then can't show the upgrade page. I don't know if other people have same problem or just me.

But finally I got the old firmware back to my unit.

You are right.. The link it jumps back to is not correct-- that will have to be fixed.

Until then, after it gives you the html error, simply point to this link »192.168.15.1/update.html

You will be able to up or downgrade firmware from there.

What is the default Admin password on this new image?
I tried to SSH into my WRTP with Admin/blank, Admin/Admin and a few other variations but couldn't get in. Even after a factory reset with the reset button.

[Edit] - Strange...It seems to be retaining the Admin password I gave it in my xml. Not sure how after I performed a full factory default?

Good news is, I was able to TFTP it a modified and re-encrypted tigeneric.xml file and get it to provision to my Asterisk server....changing the Admin password in the process.

Keep up the good work rcilink!
Can't wait for the working wrt3-1-10 firmware.

rtp300

is anyone else having problems with the rtp300 firmware? mine is freezing every time i hit a voice page... i have to reboot it to make it work, i have re-downloaded the FW a few times, and it still does this,...

(thats using the 3.1.10 fw posted on page 3 of this thread)

Actually now that I am looking at it, i think it is because i gave it no voice provisioning info... No tftp server to look for for info, so it is trying as hard as it can to fill the voids in the html at the voice pages, and it is freezing.... any other ideas how to push an XML to one of these things so i can unbrick mine?
