clubs: | Some forums still have animated banners
I just posted to the Verizon Online forum and noticed that they have an animated banner, which left me wondering why we can't all (the forums) have the same; especially this forum, where the graphics and animation are done.

There are plenty forum banners that are still animated, and some non animated at the old file size 200 x 130. Here's a few and there are probably more. ?????

You know what's weird, we could animate at the present file size and it wouldn't look bad at all, so I don't understand the limitation. File size would seem to be all that matters, right? We could keep the dimensions the same, even if they did look better at the larger ones. We could make good looking, low file size banners that get the forum theme across. Just wanted some feedback on this one.

It's not a file size restriction, it's just justin's preference not to have animated banners. Some forums do still have them, but he has made it clear that he doesn't like it.

I wonder why he doesn't like the animation? Maybe a cartoon scared him when he was young? |
