Realevilplayer has done a lot of questionable things in the past! How it earned it's hated reputation.
Going online without permission, installing other junk, doing things it shouldn't, just does a whole bunch of things behind the scenes that get annoying, etc.
Was listed as Spyware for a while, don't know if it still is, I doubt it, nowadays you can pay to be unlisted!

You obviously haven't used the Realplayer Enterprise edition, it is ad free and looks more streamlined.

You are asked to enter a company name and phone number, but nobody is watching. I am guessing they want that because they know in a corperate enviroment people won't be watching ads.
