Yup. That is indeed true for the v1 and v2 versions.

The specifications on the side on my unopened 2005 BEFSX41 box says:

•10/100mbps LAN
•10/100mbps WAN

My old v2 box did indicate a 10mbps WAN and a 10/100mbps LAN.
