The Navy Marine Corp. Intranet (NMCI)recently made available a broadband connection for employees to access the NMCI from home. Of course they offer no support other than the equipment they provide, i.e., the laptop.
I can't get connected through my Dlink 614+ router. What the NMCI documentation says is to be sure the following are not blocked:
UDP/TCP Port 53 for DNS
IP Protocol 50 for IPSec Encapsulation Security Protocol Traffic
IP Protocol 51 for IPSec Header traffic
UDP Port 500 for IKE negotiation traffic
UDP Port 4500 for IKE negotiation traffic
They use Netscreen Remote login
VPN is enabled and I think I opened the ports but either I am missing something or the router just isn't up to the task.
Any help will be appreciated. |
