Fully Automatic!

Of course if the program allows how often to poll for updates I will select what I deem appropriate for the specific program. Something like Sun Java doesn't need to poll for updates every day or even every week! Once a month for Sun Java is sufficient I think.

Windows XP SP2 has Auto Download and Auto Install at my specified time.
