|  Rebate promise was a fraud!
I called the Northpoint rebate center recently because my installation rebate should have been here a long time ago. I got service up and running on Aug 17; it's now Oct 30. Northpoint told me that the deal PSN told be about the $250 rebate for installation was NOT through them at all. It supposedly was only PSN's deal. But I'm fairly sure the reason PSN has not paid the rebates is because 1) they're out of money and 2) they thought NP was still offering the rebates (i.e., not out of their pocket). Several calls to PSN are either on hold forever, or they say "they're running behind on the rebates." Duh that's why I'm calling!
So now what the hell do I do with a $250 hole in my pocket? |

| Modusa, I am having the same problem with them. I signed up the first week on July 2000 and today 12/7/00 still I have not received my rebate and when i talked to them over the phone after an hour of wait they said, "they are running behind 1 to 2 months". I was really mad because for past couple of days my service is down and they open the trouble ticked at northpoint and psn.net. Still nothing yet and those stupid people are not doing anything. I wish there was a way to cancel and get my money back. If you know or anyone knows how to get my refund, I would appreciate dropping me an email: nizar777@yahoo.com. I would not recommend then to anyone and I am with all of you guys. |
