Re: Insight Maintenance

Yep just received mine about the network maintence.

Could this be that their turning away from the AT&T backbone and going with sprint and this is what the network maintence is for seeing as how they want us to reset our cable modems to get the new ip from sprint?

Is this supposed to be a change for the better or ? Just curious why Insight is dumping AT&T I guess. I'm alittle nervous of the change cause my service has been so good and I need good solid service since I have VOIP and I guess I'm spoiled.

I know alot of people complain about Insight BB and issues , but I have had a real good ride since the demise of @home and I hope that continues. My only 2 complaints would be the high price of the plus tier and lack of OnDemand Sports Packages.

Sorry to get off topic there , back to the thread

Your VOIP will most likely function just fine. Sprint is a solid provider.

As for the reason for the change, I suspect it's IPTV. AT&T is now selling IPTV, at least in this market, and competing directly with Insight in their primary service market, television.

Insight has little choice but to not partner with their own competition.
