How secure is an older PGP Cert?

I have a client that is using PGP Enterprise Security from RSA software. The program name and version - PGP Desktop security 6.0.2

Is this still good to use or should they upgrade to something newer?

Please help a security newbie

PGP 6.0.2 can certainly still be used very securely.

For possible security issues to consider, start reading here in my PGP FAQ:

To see the major changes in PGP since PGP 6.0.2:

There is much related information throughout the FAQ, but it takes some time to read it all.
