Re: All Non-Verizon Email Domains Blocked

While I don't have Verizon DSL a friend of mine had this problem yesterday as well. He wasn't getting anything at all. Seems like they fixed it, well fixed so I can at least email him.

ya know, why can't they just put whatever in the bulk/spam folder? I'd rather have to delete a bunch of junk than lose things I WANTED!

While I did receive emails sent to my domain name this morning, along with my normal batch of spam, I still have not received the emails that were sent to me last evening.

I'm not failing to get ALL emails, but a number of emails have failed to come through, including confirmations for site registrations for several sites. And, of course, meanwhile, plenty of spam's come in!

It's happening here too: people trying to send me e-mail from various other ISPs were getting a bounceback message to that same effect all day yesterday. Some of their e-mails did make it to me eventually; some as yet have not, and likely never will.

Ironically, while I was busy NOT receiving e-mails that I should have been getting, a number of spam e-mails DID get through to me.

Bravo, Verizon!

The Verizon teck said that was the reason I was not able to receive any email

is the message anyone will get if they send email to my domain name.

And what makes you think that?

Verizon has finally decided to fight spam. And how might you ask. They have decided to block ALL EMAIL DOMAINS. What idiots.
