 DSL Router Westell 327w

Greetings guys/gals!,

My mom has VODSL with this router/modem and I need to figure out if it is at all possible to somehow disable one of its ethernet ports or at least route the packets going into and out of a particular port to itself rendering it useless (the port).

Any ideas?

  Disconnecting the cable usually works.

If you're really trying to disable a port without breaking it, visit the Advanced LAN / VLAN properties -- if you put a port on a different VLAN from the rest of the ports (VLAN ID 1 is the default) it will become disconnected from the rest of the ports in the switch and become useless. You can also do this for the entire WiFi interface.
