I thought Utah's project Utopia acted as you are describing, which means the municipality installs the facilties and provides wholesale access to anyone and everyone for resale of services. |

sounds like there should be a good for the community clause or technology advancement clause that would help the community . Like emminant domain for internet lines. If the teleco is not going to fix the blight the city will(blight as being slow copw lines) |

Mostly because these cities politicans have been bought by the telcos and cable companies, passing "Anti Competition" legislation.
Imagine for just a moment if these clowns would have spent a fraction of the money they've wasted trying to oppose muni broadband options, and invested it in their networks? |
