| Re: It's called politics - other congresscritters getting Cable$ I moved out of Illinois (well, one of the reasons) because just about every politician is crooked beyond belief (the former Gov. just got convicted ... on many counts, current Gov is being investigated and the Mayor of Chicago is "always under investigation" ... though you have to love Mayor Daley, it is Chicago after-all and you gotta love it when he blows his top) The state of IL. notion of constructive and effective broadband development is to form a committee (broadband task force .. which the Gov. does not support ... but the Lt. Gov leads) Go figure that one out !
BUT ... Illinois has some strong guys in DC who can "bring home the bacon" ... yea right, I'll believe that one when I see it. All the IL. politico's in DC (other than Obama) are part of the same machine that is causing this whole mess ... all the money is going "through" Bobby R. in my opinion in order to shelter DH and his cronies.
I'm a cheese-head now so gotta bash IL. whenever you can or they give you a ticket up here ... was part of an oath they make you take when you get a new drivers license  | |
