jmr50 join:2000-05-14 New York, NY | Purcellville, VA? I was driving through a new community in Purcellville, VA this weekend and saw the same distinctive orange conduit on each lot, combined with some interesting looking trenching. Could this be FIOS this far out? |

 | It very well could be. Verizon has finally reached a cable franchise agreement with the county cable commission, and it includes build-out milestones. Even out in Bluemont and places like that, they will see FiOS, at least eventually. |

Are they strictly numbers-based or can we get a sense of where they may focus on first in Loudoun. Personally I hope they can finish out Sterling and HRNDVAST within a few months. |

 | I suspect they'll be available soon online from loudoun.gov |

AARGH join:2003-03-26 Sterling, VA | reply to ahsan They seem to be going pretty slow in Sterling. They are still installing on Rt. 7 just around the Sterling Blvd. intersection (North side of 7). I'm next to DTC and the slow pace of installs is driving me crazy. Verizon installer told us when we moved in early last year that we should have had it by end of last year. |

 | Which neighborhood in Purcellville? |

 | I'm in the Chestnut Overlook development and just committed to satellite for lack of a better solution. It's horrible. What's the best source to track development on this in Purcellville? Any recommendations on alternatives to satellite are also needed. It's completely unreliable. |
