What do you think? Well, lets crunch some numbers. Cable internet provides 38Mbps on a 6Mhz downstream channel. Now thats not 45Mbps, but in comparison, a cable node provisioned at 6Mbps downstream is likely to have slower than advertised speeds when 250+ people occupy that node. Therefore, if these buildings have 1000 tennants in each building, with a dish providing 45Mbps on each building, you will probably have latency from hell, and 1Mbps symetrical. Hopefully I'm wrong though  |
