Engineers want to tinker on the product but marketing rules the corporate world, the lords of chaos. Engineers say we need to work on the 802.11N but marketing say no it good enough get it out the door today; I promised customer we will have 1000 unit on his shelf by last week. Not that I really follow it but I thought the 802.11N standard had already been finalized. If not guess I better pay more attention. I had wondered why some of the articles were still calling these new routers Pre-N or first draft.
