| reply to Speedooo Your line cannot support any higher speed that what you see there. According to your SNR it is at bare minimum and the attenuation is over 60 (max). Do you have any idea how far from the Bell office that you are? Do you download a great deal that it is necessary to pay that much for such a low speed? DSL basic or DSL basic light may be the way to go but they have caps... -- My Canada includes Quebec. |

| reply to Glen1 Can I even get a 1mb profile working? I used to be getting that but the Sympatico tech I called downgraded it to .67mb for stability reason. But the line is extremely stable as of now and is never disconnected, that let me think I can get higher speed. Speedooo |

That way it can be a private exchange between yourself and anyone offering help. -- My Canada includes Quebec. |

Like others mentionned, check your internal wiring for any problems. My line's attenuation is higher than yours while my SNR is two times higher than your line's. -- aka Maurício |

2 edits | reply to Speedooo well this is mine Best bet would be to run a separate phone line directly to your demarc point for your DSL modem dus bypassing your internal wiring completely
