3 edits | IE7 Tip for moving Classic Menu to top! Not sure anyone knows this but you can move the File,Edit,View,Favorites,Tools and Help buttons to the top of the IE7 browser by doing this.
Put the info below in notepad and save as toolbar.reg
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser] "ITBar7Position"=dword:00000001 |

gate1975mlm I've followed your instructions to the letter, and I keep getting this error message (see pic)when I try to add it to the reg. Any ideas as to what the hell I'm doing wrong? -- Hey...look another dead horse...let's beat it to death. |

Also, here is a tool that will do it, and a couple other small tasks in IE7 beta as well.

Now what I really want is something that can put the Stop/Refresh back where they belong. I don't think it will be long before full UI customizations are back. Though it might need Power Toys vista. -- my photo gallery |
