Is anyone getting Yahoo Group mail dleivered?

I mentioned the other day I was not getting any email delivered Yahoo Group mail. It appears to have stopped May 2 or 3.

I would like to know if anyone else who has gone through the Insight *upgrade* here uses email delivery of Yahoo Groups to a Insight email address, and still getting their group mail?

Nope. I had to use my yahoo email address in order to start receiving messages. I hope its fixed soon.

My wife no longer gets her Yahoo Groups mail either.

Five days seems like a long time to work the kinks out of their mail server changes. Has anyone contacted Insight to inform them of this problem?

I don't use insight mail to read yahoo groups, but some (NOT ALL) mailing list mail and bulk mail is no longer getting through, such as an advertising mail that should have arrived earlier this morning, and a daily mailing list.

Aggressive filtering? Technical problem? Bouncing or just undelivered? Who knows?

A Wall Street Journal last week about the general problem (not about insight in particular) said "As much as 20 percent of legitimate bulk commercial email -- which includes mail users sign up to receive as well as online statements and receipts -- gets caught in spam filters"

I may have all mailing list mail and bulk mail sent to another acct, and pop the other acct directly so it arrives in the same inbox as the mail that goes through insight's mail server.

local springfield call center super said that it may take all next week to get this fixed. and yes those groups are block by a peice of new hardware that went into place. They are trying to run the whole network out of louisville now so the person told me.

My Bounce History shows normal. I had some soft bounces back in April, but that is it.

The problem appears to be that Insight no longer accepts the "Sender Address" that Yahoo uses. Yahoo uses a lengthy address that looks like:

sentto-1234567-1234-1234567890-emailaddress=mailserver.com@returns.groups.yahoo.com

I've genericized everything aboved, and the emailaddress=mailserver.com is your email address with the "@" replaced by a "=". It's the equals sign that Insight's having a problem with. I started bouncing my Yahoo email through another server that allows to edit the sendmail queue files -- all I have to do is change the "=" to a "-", and then Insight will deliver it.

By the way, the error that Insight is returning is:

451 Temporary recipient validation error

You wonder if they test this stuff.

I am of the opinion that they barely tested and only tested for a few limited instances, not things like these Yahoo messages, or even sending out messages with non insightbb.com email addresses.
