Huntington Beach, CA | Zone Alarm says KAV 6 wants to act as server
Do I need to allow KAV 6 to act as a server in the trusted zone? Zone Alarm has notified me that KAV is trying to do this.

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA | I would think not. Try without server rights and see if things seem to work ok. If so, then it doesn't need it. |

Australia | I allowed it full access, as teh trusted zone is your Loop BAck address (127.0.0.1) as well, and Kav on our comp, listens on local ports. Since it is your antivirus and you are asking about LAN server rights, i would seriously not be worried. |

On second thought, if it's the Trusted Zone that's fine to allow it. In fact, KAV might need that traffic to function properly. Rotty is right... |
