We learned this last weekend that the eldest daughter (9 yrs) of my youngest son, dthar  , has cancer, Osteosarcoma in her leg. And do they move fast after this type of diagnosis in a kid. A different place and doctor or test every day. She is going down to Beaumont Hospital tomorrow for a biopsy. Also somebody, I don't know who, is coming out to there home to bring a wheelchair and build a ramp tomorrow also. Chemo starts next week. They no longer amputate the leg but can you imagine keeping a nine year old off of the leg because she might break it? The details are coming so fast we are having trouble getting them in our heads.
Dan doesn't post at the site very often, but is a team member, about 340-345 on the list. I'll ask him to stop by but as he works a ten hour day with a three hour round trip to work...
Any time you have for prayers and/or mojo for the next few months would be very helpful.
BTW...Osteosarcoma is doctor speak for bone cancer. |
